Spring Break at Home Can Also Be Fun!

Not all the time we can afford to go on vacation with our children, and that’s why if you’re stuck at home for Spring Break, you don’t have to feel too bad, because with a little creativity we can guarantee, the whole family can spend a FUN Spring Break!

As we make our own plans for Spring Break at KidZville, we’re always thinking of new ways to keep your littles ones occupied with something productive, so they can learn and have fun at the same time, so today we want to share some of our ideas you can try this week:

  • Outdoor Activities. Just because you can’t travel doesn’t mean you can’t go outside! You can plan everything from a scavenger hunt to a picnic in your own backyard, or go watch the stars on a camping trip.

  • Indoor Activities. There are plenty of things to do inside the house, from trying a new recipe, playing trivia or board games, and even building a fort with pillows and blankets for movie night!

  • Staying Creative. Crafts keep children entertained as they use their imagination to build what they like. From homemade cards, to putting on your own puppet show, they can have fun creating.

  • Think Outside the Box. Set up an obstacle course in your living room, play “floor is lava”, or organize your own “Olympic Family Games”. Your mind is the limit to keep things entertaining for everybody.

The most important thing to remember is that Spring Break is about creating memories, so as long as you spend time sharing and having fun as a family, it won’t matter if you travel or not, because you can be sure those memories will last a lifetime.

Let us know which ideas you wil be trying this week or if you have any other Spring Break plans! Remember our Spring Break Kamp starts next week, and we have some amazing field trips planned, so make sure you visit our website to know all about it!
